Circular scaffolding



Circular scaffolding is often used on various tanks, gas holders, reactors, columns, and other industrial facilities of the cylindrical or spherical shape. Circular scaffolding can also be found on circular facades of buildings. A striking feature of «SOYUZ» SmartScaff series scaffolding is that it allows you—precisely and without excessive materials—to repeat shapes of objects along which circular scaffolding is being installed. Due to well-designed holes in flanges (sockets) of scaffolding poles (4 small holes and 4 large holes), large holes allow you to select a random angle of fastening the girders (horizontals) in the horizontal plane, making it possible to ensure a perfect fit of the scaffolding shape to circular shapes of objects. Another distinctive feature of circular scaffolding is frequent use of steel battens on intermediate (trapezoidal) spans. Steel battens are an analogue of steel decking that has a decreased height of the section (45 mm) and does not have fasteners on their ends for installation on girders. A steel batten is laid with overlap on standard steel decking and fixed with a special screw for protection against shifting or rising. If necessary, our engineers will develop a special design for circular scaffolding and perform installation supervision.
